Orphan of the Day #3

Today's theme for orphan of the day is older children!  This will deeply sadden your heart for these kids.  Well...technically they aren't "kids"..they are TEENAGERS living in ADULT INSTITUTION

These orphans don't have much time left AT ALL.  Normally at age 16 they are given a couple tens of dollars and put onto the streets to survive and live on their own. With absolutely NO EXPERIENCE of life outside the institution walls.

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU "SHARE" THIS LINK ON ANY OF YOUR SOCIAL MEDIA SITES TO HELP THESE KIDS FIND THEIR FOREVER FAMILIES, FAST!!!!  Before it's too late! :(

Today I'm going to start off with our teenage cutie orphan!  Meet...

Joy

One beautiful beautiful girl who turns 15 this OCTOBER, the national month of Down syndrome awareness!   She is exactly my (Kaitlyn) little sister, Kristen's age!  She'll turn 15 this month too.  Only there is a huge difference in these two teenagers lives.  And no, Down syndrome isn't one of the big ones!  Kristen, my sister, has spent 15 short happy years living in our family, feeling love, getting a good education, learning new things, doing what she loves like baking, drawing, painting, etc.  Joy, on the other hand has spent 15 long years in an orphanage/ adult institution, never knowing what love feels like, never feeling beautiful, never getting a chance to show her true colors.  It's more than heartbreaking to me.   She gets treated differently.  Why?  Because of one simple thing.  God made Joy a little differently than any other child, like my sister Kristen.  She doesn't deserve to live forever as an orphan.  God made her for so many different and perfect reasons!  All Joy needs is for someone to see her true self!  Joy is gorgeous, and so positive!  She can smile, despite the horrible conditions she's been living in.  She's spent most of her life in a crib! A STINKING CRIB!  My sister was out of crib by one and a half to around two years old!

I think you and I both can agree it isn't right.  She needs and deserves more.  By copying and pasting the link to this post to your social sites you could change a life.  Joy will be sixteen in just one short year.  There's still time to give her a real hope, a real joy.  Pray for little cutie Joy.  Think of her and just pray for her.  God hears us and will do something about this.  He loves his little Joy. <3

Now onto our orphan boy of the day! Meet....

Bartholemew

Wow is this guy handsome!  His blue eyes and blond hair is very attractive.  God gave him some beautiful features!  The poor soul looks so miserable in his photo though.  And who could blame him?  He turned 15 in August of 2012!  That means his time is quickly running out!  He'll be 16 and on the streets if he doesn't find a family before his sixteenth birthday!!  His region isn't as hard to adopt from!  He would make a great son for someone.  Barth needs you.  You need to be his voice.  You have a chance to change a life.  Right now!  What are you waiting for?  Do something!  Share this post!  Donate to his grant!  Get down on your knees and PRAY for him!   You could save this young mans life1  YES I SAID YOU!!!

I can't thank you enough for taking your time to read this post. Oh it brings tears to my eyes!  If you could help them you'd be a real life saver! God can use you through this!  He used me! I'm living proof anyone can help!  I'm a sixteen year old trying to save others that are CLOSE TO MY AGE!  Don't let this moment pass you buy.  Don't ignore this!  Change it!  Because you know you can,
